This episode was definitely a game changer. Read below for my thoughts on "Metropolis"......
It was only a matter of time until the truth about Brandon lies would come out and in this episode Vico's stage for revenge came as quite a surprise. Many of the kids at the dance were in on Vico's plan, they even put the blame on Callie for spiking the punch at the Winter Dance. Brandon then saves the day by taking the blame and he makes this big speech about how Callie never really felt the way he did. In the end, Brandon told Stef and Mike the truth about everything. He even told them how he paid off Ana and lets face it, if Ana doesn't get her 10k the truth is going to come out (although maybe if she learns that Mariana and Jesus will never speak to her again she will just go away ha). Now the only question that remains is who's going to pay the price?
The other thing I want to discuss was when my heart broke for Zac. I can't even fathom how Zac felt when his mother didn't recognize him and the fact that Mariana witnessed this made it all the more tragic. I feel like this is really going to alter Zac in ways that we can't imagine and it's definitely going to affect Zariana. To make things a little more cheery, how cute was it when Zac stuck a little paper version of himself on her locker to ask her to the Winter Ball? Oh, how I adore these two!
This episode was definitely a great lead-up to what is sure to be an amazing finale. I hope you all are ready for heartbreak because there is bound to be plenty since this is the last episode of season 1. Do you think Callie and Jude will finally be adopted?
