While this will be my last episode discussion blog until the shows returns in January, I am still planning to post weekly blogs (maybe updates on The Fosters and predictions on what's to come when the show returns) so stay tuned! Now let's discuss The Fosters finale......
First of all, I want to discuss the Callie and Liam situation. They wanted her to lie and say it was consensual but I'm glad Callie didn't do that and that she told the truth that Liam took advantage of her. It seems like Liam isn't going to be punished but I feel like eventually Callie will get the justice she deserves. I feel like this story line isn't finished yet. What were some of your opinions on this situation?
Another thing I wanted to discuss was Lexie and her parents leaving the states since her grandma is sick. And then when Lexie's parents said they weren't going to be coming back. I understand that they want to go because of family reasons but they are illegal immigrants and they should be honest with Lexie and let her know the truth otherwise she will resent them. And if they do leave what would this mean for Lexus? What do you all think is going to happen with this story line?
And then when Stef and Lena told Callie and Jude that they want to adopt them! Loved that scene! But then again if they do adopt Callie and Jude what would this mean for Ballie? Callie can't be both Brandon's girlfriend and his foster sister. But I guess it comes down to would you rather Callie and Jude be living in a loving home with a family that truly cares for them or would you just want Callie to be dating Brandon no matter what the consequences are. What are your thoughts?
And then we got the Ballie kiss everyone had been waiting for!
And Stef and Lena's wedding which was perfect (and it was the first on television of it's kind which is pretty cool).
And what do you all think about Callie running off with Wyatt to Indiana? In my opinion why couldn't Callie just stay with Jude and the Fosters and just make it clear to Brandon that they couldn't be anything more at least not when she has her brother to think about. It's not like the family isn't going to worry about her when they find her gone and it's not like Jude will live happily ever after in the family without her.
I think the main thing I want to know is when the show returns will it pick up right where it left off or will there be some kind of a time jump? All I know is that I wish it were January already!
