Cierra Ramirez attended the White House Science Fair event at the White House on March 23, 2015. Cierra was able to meet some amazingly talented students and she was a VIP at the event because of her role as teenage coder, Mariana on "The Fosters".
The President, Obama hopes to increase the number of American students in STEM, referring in science, technology, engineering, and math. Cierra went on to say that the White House fair shows young people - especially young girls - that "you can be both beautiful and smart."
